This is a little bit worrying, but not that surprising. I don’t think most of us even think about what women breathing in when we’re trying to create and grow a healthy baby. It’s not easy to find a solution though, we can’t all move to the country when our wives or girlfriends are pregnant.

Car’s are doing a lot of harm to not only people but also the environment. The sooner we can find another more health-friendly sustainable way to fuel them the better.

I think it all comes back to oil at some point. If we free ourselves from oil, we solve a multitude of problems.

I think the BP oil spill is going to be the initial push that causes us to clean up our act. Once we get rid of the need for oil, it should be easier from there.

well the conditions nowadays…one person cannot avoid air pollution even at homes…before blaming anyone…we must look to ourselves and think what we can actually do to prevent pollution…individual steps can only help reducing such a menace

You have highlighted a very serious issue and this is a high time that we start thinking for betterment of not only our lives but also for our coming generations. Unfortunately, by adding more into already polluted environment, we are doing cruelty with those innocent babies who have even not born yet. I support the idea given by above commenter that we should opt for bicycles to avoid pollution caused by cars.

This is really an alarming situation and not only governments, but also the public need to be serious about it and fight collectively against this pollution. If the situation continues to worsen, I can even take a bold step of going on my old bicycle to my office instead of car. If we don’t think for our environment, who else is going to think for it?
